It's snowing in Paris

Finally, after a month of rain, the weather changed and today we had our first snow! It's nothing like Torino or most of the cities in Italy but it's enough to turn this beautiful city in a spectacular one!
The temperature was 14 F and the fountain in the center of the bassin at the Jardins de Luxembourg was completely frozen and all the ducks were relaxing on the ice! My mind went to a quote from the movie Fried green tomatoes : "this big flock of ducks came in and landed on that lake. And then the temperature dropped so fast that the lake just froze right there. And the ducks flew off, you see, and they took that lake right with them". Well, the lake, actually the basin, is still there. But the atmosphere was magical!
